May 1st 2012, FFMp3 0.4.5 released! In this update Bulgarian translation has been added, changing the title by JavaScript has been enabled, skins configuration has been simplified and some minor bugs were fixed. We have also included a new skin: Faredirfare. Please visit the CHANGELOG for details.

Mar 24th 2012, FFMp3 0.4.4 released! This version adds dead connection detection, fixes Flash internal Mp3 syncronization problems, enables displaying metadata inside the player and allows setting Streaming and Fallback URLs dynamically via JavaScript. Please visit the CHANGELOG for details.

What is FFMp3?

If you're trying to make live audio streaming with shoutcast/icecast, work on all major browsers in all major OS maybe you're needing this.

Live Mp3/OGG Flash Player that works great with Shotcast and Icecast 2. It has some interesting and necessary features like reconnect on network errors to make sure users never get silence and cache management to avoid memory huge memory consumption.

Developed in haXe, this project only needs Flash 10 plugin (or newer) to work.
